Pixie Braids

Pixie braids are braids hairstyles with countless of tiny title braids that cover the most part or the whole head. This braids hairstyle in commonly worn by African-American or Black women. The pixie braids consist of  many threads of braiding hair that have an approximate width of one pencil. These pixie braids are usually 6 to 24 inches in length and the stylists singe the ends to keep them from unraveling. Since the braids don’t harm the hair and are very versatile, the hair style is very popular among black women trying to grow their real or natural hair. Pixie braids can last between 1 and 3 months.(If you want to do, please contact us)

Cornrows

Cornrows (sometimes called canerows) are a traditional style of braids in which the hair is braided very close to the scalp, using an underhand, upward motion to make a continuous, raised row. Cornrows are often done in simple, straight lines, as the term implies, but they can also be styled in elaborate geometric or curvilinear designs.

Depending on the region of the world, cornrows are worn by both sexes, and are, on some occasions, adorned with beads, hair cuffs, or cowrie shells. The duration of weaving cornrow braids may take up to five hours, depending on the quantity and width. Often favored for their easy maintenance, cornrows can be left in for weeks at a time if maintained through careful washing of the hair and natural oiling of the scalp. Braids are considered a protective styling on African curly hair as they allow for easy and restorative growth. Braids pulled too tightly or worn for longer lengths of time and on different hair types can cause a type of hair loss known as traction alopecia.(If you want to do, please contact us)

Crochet Braids

For years, crochet braids have been a go-to style for many trying to create a new look or transition out of their relaxer or current hairstyling method. Quick and easy, crocheting is a weaving process that doesn't require much manipulation of your natural hair other than braiding.
Crochet braiding, sometimes referred to as latch hook braiding, is a method of hair styling that's typically used to create length or simply protect one's natural hair. The style is held together by a base of cornrowed hair to which hair extensions are then attached. Gatlin explains it best, saying "crochet is the technique used where you take a crochet sewing hook (typical for crocheting sweaters, scarves, blankets etc.) and attach either a pre-looped hair extension or bulk hair extension onto the hook of the crochet tool."(If you want to do, please contact us)
